A progressive Japanese restaurant in the Arts District of Los Angeles, California is looking for Sushi and Japanese Cuisine Cook.
This is a unique opportunity to learn hands-on under the guidance of our Head Chef while contributing to innovative dishes that highlight locally sourced ingredients.

＜Job Overview＞
Primary responsibilities in the sushi section, along with support in Japanese cuisine and charcoal grill (robata) operations.

＜Responsibilities＞
・Sushi preparation in the sushi section (Handling fish, sushi preparation, and plating support)
・Basic tasks such as rolling sushi and preparing nigiri
・Assisting with Japanese dishes and charcoal grill (robata) using local ingredients
・Skill development and training under the supervision of the Head Chef
・Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
・Maintaining hygiene standards, managing inventory, and working to reduce food waste

＜Requirements＞
・Practical experience related to sushi (advanced skills not required; potential and willingness to learn are welcome)
・Ability to handle and cut fish
・Motivated, ambitious, and eager to grow in the culinary field
・Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
・English proficiency (Japanese language skills a plus)
・Strong team player with flexibility and adaptability
