<Job Description>
Conduct research, document observations, analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations in product development activities.
Apply for/renew R&D-related certifications and licenses.
Plan/schedule new product development according to existing R&D procedures and lead all related departments to complete the entire process.
Conduct market research and analysis and work with the sales department to determine product image, selling price, and potential sales volume.
Verify that both raw materials and packaging materials meet CFR and other food safety related standards, and determine the requirements of third-party certification bodies and customers.
Engage in product development testing and visually verify that everything is working.
Engage in nutritional analysis testing and prepare nutrition panels in accordance with federal regulations.
Understand food labeling requirements and create food labels.
Create/update/maintain accurate QC process sheets based on production testing. Ensure quality standards are adhered to and actual production activities are carried out.
Create/update/maintain all R&D documentation.
Inspect and verify that product quality, condition, and packaging conform to prescribed standards prior to shipment.
Update and maintain material specifications according to the Master Ingredient List and Master Package List. etc.
<Requirements>
Must have a U.S. work visa.
Minimum of 3 years of R&D experience in the food industry
Computer skills (Word, Excel/spreadsheets, PowerPoint, etc.)
