We are seeking a General Manager to join a renowned Japanese restaurant chain with locations in California. This position involves managing locations in Torrance, Irvine, Koreatown, and San Diego for a well-known curry rice specialty chain. The company is customer-focused and has grown to operate 1,000 locations by 2004, expanding globally to regions such as Hawaii and Hong Kong. Their first U.S. location was established in 2011.
This role is highly recommended for individuals with previous management or store manager experience at Japanese restaurants in the U.S. A company car will also be provided.
<Responsibilities>
As a management team member, you will oversee and supervise multiple supervisors. You will also be responsible for store operations and supporting new store openings as needed.
After joining, you will be required to work on-site for at least three months.

<Requirements>
- Business-level English and conversational-level Japanese
- Experience in a trading company is a plus
- Prior experience working at Japanese restaurants in the U.S. is preferred
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to think independently
- Must have a valid U.S. work authorization
- Must hold or be willing to obtain a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Remote work is not available for this position
