A Japanese food manufacturer located in Santa Fe Springs, California is looking for the candidate who can work as a Quality Control Assistant Manager.

Assisting, managing, and performing practical tasks in the quality control department of a food manufacturer.
<Job Description>
・Creating various labels and verifying their accuracy
・Conducting product inspections and calibrating equipment
・Performing inspections and verifications according to SSOP and GMP; verifying CCP and PC
・Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control programs to comply with FDA, USDA, FSMA, HACCP, ・GMP, and other food safety regulations
・Verifying quality control checks required at each manufacturing process
・Providing training to production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
・Registering and modifying raw material and formulation data
・Responding to quality checks by government agencies
・Managing and developing team members
・[Other]Performing additional tasks and miscellaneous duties as instructed by supervisors, as needed
<Requirements>
・English (Business level) and Japanese (Fluent level)
・Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (Preference given to those who majored in Food Science, Biochemistry, or related fields)
・Experience with the operation of SQF, ISO 22000, etc.
・Certified SQF Practitioner
・HACCP Certification
・PCQI (FSMA)
・Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience preferred
・Ability to handle inspection equipment properly and accurately read, measure, and record data
・Strong emphasis on teamwork, including effective communication with supervisors and other departments
・Basic knowledge of food hygiene and quality control operations, including the ability to read and understand raw material labels and allergen information
・Excellent leadership and communication skills
・Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize work
・Proficiency in Windows PC and Microsoft Excel
