Sushi Chef – Japanese Restaurant

A Japanese restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a sushi chef to join the team.

The position will involve working at the sushi counter inside the restaurant, with the sushi counter currently accommodating 3-4 chefs (10 counter seats available).

The role includes supporting the kitchen manager, ensuring guest satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality dishes, and maintaining a lively and fulfilling work environment.

[Job Responsibilities]
•Handle a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients
•Manage food stock and work with attention to detail to fulfill orders within quality standards
• Prepare food items according to recipes or instructions provided
• Comply with high standards for food handling and sanitation procedures

[Qualifications]
•More than 5 years of experience in sushi and kitchen work
• Business-level English proficiency
• Valid driver’s license in the U.S.
• Valid work visa for employment in the U.S.
