We are seeking an individual to fill a Sales Manager position for a company that sells food manufacturing equipment in Orlando, Florida.
<Job Description>
- Generate daily report of sales activities and submit them to management
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers
- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence in the territory
- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
- Update client information in the company contact database with sales progress report
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
- Demonstrate products on site or at showroom
- Deliver products to customer location if needed
- Provide product training
- Provide after care service, including technical support
- Plan and organize daily work schedule
- Plan business trip
- Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems: developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reaching to technician in manufacture side and be able to repair products
- Train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
<Requirements>
- Business level English and Chinese are required / Daily conversational level Japanese is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years food or alcohol related sales experience preferred
- High school diploma or higher required. High school diploma or higher required, university degree or higher preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
