Restaurant Manager|Kappo izakaya restaurant (major Japanese restaurant group )

A high-end Japanese izakaya restaurant (a major restaurant group) in Las Vegas, Nevada, is seeking a Restaurant Manager.

 

<Job Summary>

  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations (sales, cost control, staffing, inventory, etc.)

  • Recruit, train, and manage staff scheduling

  • Ensure and improve the quality of customer service

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction

  • Propose and execute menu items and promotions (in coordination with headquarters)

  • Maintain health and safety standards (including inspections, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance)

  • Prepare reports on sales, expenses, labor costs, and report to headquarters

  • Handle customer interactions, including complaints and feedback

 

<Requirements>

  • Experience in restaurant management (experience in izakaya or Japanese cuisine preferred)

  • Proven experience in staff management (hiring, training, scheduling, etc.)

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Solid ability to manage numbers (sales, cost, inventory)

  • High level of customer service awareness

  • Basic PC skills (Excel, email, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Japanese (English skills a plus)

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
