A Japanese food manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs, California is looking for a Quality Assurance Staff.
<Job Summary>
Work in the Quality Control department of a food manufacturing company, performing various inspection and quality control tasks. (Approx. 40% hands-on work, 60% administrative tasks)
＜Job Duties＞
・Conduct product inspections and enter data accurately
・Create product labels and verify labeling accuracy
・Perform daily routine inspections including pH, Brix, water activity, salinity, and color difference; calibrate inspection equipment as needed
・Check and prepare SSOP and GMP protocols daily; monitor operations, including CCP and PC verification
・Conduct quality control checks at each stage of the production process
・Register and update raw materials and formula data
・Assist in responding to inspections by regulatory agencies
・Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by supervisors when necessary
＜Requirements＞
・Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.
・Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
・Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience preferred
・Ability to properly operate inspection equipment, accurately read and record measurements
・Strong teamwork skills and ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments
・Basic knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures; ability to understand and interpret ingredient labels and allergen information
・Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
・Proficiency in Windows PC and Microsoft Excel
・High school diploma or equivalent required
