A large Japanese food manufacturer (in the seafood industry) located in Seattle, Washington is looking for an Inside Sales Assistant who has experience as a sales assistant! (Experience in the food industry preferred)
<Job Description>
- Establish a support system for each sales representative.
- Communicate with sales representatives, customers, warehouses, logistics companies, etc. via phone, email, and text.
- Research data and history to resolve order and inventory issues, identify alternative means of fulfilling orders, and consult with sales representatives.
- Release customer orders to the appropriate cold storage warehouse.
- Update accurate data entry daily.
- Enter sales and invoice back data and maintain promotional database.
- Verify promotional allowances, rebates, price discrepancies, and special pricing with each sales representative.
- Prepare and provide a chart comparing actual sales to projected results.
- Obtain required documentation from suppliers and provide to brokers for import clearance.
- Arrange for sample shipments as requested by the sales representative.
- Compile data and prepare sales presentations when requested by the sales representative.
- Provide support as needed, including but not limited to the above tasks.

- Business level English and Japanese
- Visa to work in the U.S.
- Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented
- Experience with MS Office – Excel, Outlook, Word
- Experience working in the food industry
- Experience as a sales assistant preferred
