A major Japanese logistic company located in San Francisco , California is seeking a Branch Manager.

<Job Description>

Branch Management

• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring smooth workflows and compliance with company policies.
• Supervise and support branch staff, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused environment.
• Support sales and customer relationship activities, including local marketing and customer follow-up.
• Prepare regular reports on branch activities, expenses, and performance.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customer issues at the branch level.

Moving Department Management

• Drive company vehicles and participate in moving work as needed, including packing, unpacking, loading, unloading, palletizing, breaking pallets, vanning/devanning, and warehousing.
• Conduct job estimates, confirm customer requirements, and ensure services are delivered to meet expectations.
• Assist customers in Japanese with documentation, customs clearance explanations, and problem-solving.
• Coordinate with English-speaking colleagues to ensure proper execution of on-site moving work.
• Schedule, dispatch, and supervise moving crews, ensuring jobs are completed safely and on time.
• Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions in a professional manner.
• Train new movers and monitor performance to maintain high-quality service.

<Requirements>

• International Mover experience required (hands-on packing, loading/unloading, warehouse work, customer interaction).
• Ability to drive company vehicles (valid driver’s license and clean driving record required).
• Bilingual: Japanese (business-level, for customer service) and English (for internal communication).
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to balance physical moving duties with branch management responsibilities.
