A Japanese restaurant in Boston, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Manager to join the team.
This restaurant, operated by one of Japan’s largest conveyor belt sushi chain companies, offers authentic Japanese-style sushi and creative dishes.

＜Responsibilities＞
・Lead and support daily restaurant operations across both Front of house and Back of House
・Deliver exceptional guest experiences and cultivate repeat and VIP guests
・Train, coach, and mentor team members to uphold service, hospitality, and operational standards
・Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations, ensuring an A-grade from the Department of Health
・Assist with scheduling, labor management, and tip reporting
・Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing team members
・Build a positive, inclusive, and high-morale workplace culture
・Learn and support kitchen operations to ensure seamless end-to-end management
・Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost controls
＜Requirements＞
・1–2 years of management or supervisory experience
・Strong customer service and leadership skills
・ServSafe Certification (If you do not have a ServSafe certificate, the company will cover the cost to take the exam)
・Weekend and holiday availability
・Ability to work 50+ hours per week
・Willingness to work in both FOH and BOH
