General Manager (GM) | Italian-French Restaurant

An upscale Italian-French restaurant located in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a General Manager (GM) to oversee overall restaurant operations.

 

<Responsibilities>

This position oversees the overall operation of the restaurant.

Manage all aspects of store operations and staff, including hiring, training, and shift scheduling

Manage key performance metrics such as sales, costs, and labor expenses, while maintaining and improving service quality and hospitality standards

Handle affluent and VIP guests, including complaint resolution and special requests, and coordinate closely with the owner and chef

Perform all duties related to restaurant operations

 

<Required Qualifications>

Valid work authorization in the United States

Management experience in the food and beverage industry

Fluency in Japanese and English, plus one additional language
(Korean or Chinese required)

Ability to conduct business operations in English

Strong hospitality mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality service

Excellent communication skills wit

 

<Preferred Qualifications>

Experience serving high-net-worth individuals or VIP clients

Experience working in upscale restaurants, hotels, or luxury hospitality environments

This position involves providing refined service to affluent clientele in a calm, sophisticated setting and differs significantly from casual dining or izakaya-style operations.
