Yakiniku Fast Food Restaurant is looking for a new store manager and time zone manager for the first Yakiniku Fast Food Restaurant in the U.S. to open in Long Beach, California. (In the food court)
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, customer service, staff management, and promotions, and will grow with us as a founding member of the company.
Interview and selection in February
You will be participating in the preparation for the opening of the new store starting in March!
<Job Description>
Responsible for restaurant performance
- Analyze and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
- Plan marketing activities such as promotional events and year-end and New Year’s promotions
- Prepare end-of-shift and end-of-week reports on labor management, food cost management, sales, etc.
- Develop and implement plans for department sales, profits, and staff development
- Set budgets with senior management
- Plan and coordinate new menus and menu changes (as applicable)
- Ensure all staff take appropriate meals and breaks as required by law
Operations
- Coordinate overall restaurant operations during assigned shifts
- Manage staff and provide feedback throughout the shift
- Respond to and resolve customer complaints
- Ensure all employees adhere to company uniform standards
- Be friendly yet professional
- Suggest food and beverage combinations
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
- Check inventory levels and order supplies
- Count and collect cash
- Provide assistance in any area of the restaurant as the situation requires
<Requirements>
- Must have a U.S. work visa (OPT visa not accepted)
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Flexibility for different events as we are a start-up
- Quick business experience, meat handling experience is a plus
- Restaurant experience
