A Japanese IT company located in Torrance, CA is looking for a Web Project Coordinator & Front-End Engineer.
＜Job Summary＞
In this role, you will be responsible for both project management and front-end development for website development and
maintenance projects.
You will lead the entire project from client interviews conducted alongside the sales team through planning, proposal development,
design, implementation, and post-launch maintenance and improvements, while also participating directly in front-end development.
＜Responsibilities＞
・Attend client meetings and gather requirements alongside the sales team
・Develop website strategies and prepare project proposal documents
・Define requirements and specifications, and manage schedules and workloads
・Coordinate project progress with the production team and external partners
・Develop front-end features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
・Build websites using SaaS platforms such as Webflow and Shopify
・Build websites and develop templates using CMS platforms such as WordPress
・Design user interfaces and implement animations with UI/UX considerations
・Ensure quality through responsive design and accessibility compliance
・Maintain existing websites and propose improvements
・Manage the quality of project deliverables
＜Requirements＞
・Bilingual in Japanese and English
・Authorized to work in the United States
・Practical experience in website development or front-end development
・Knowledge of and practical experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
・Experience in website direction or project management (practical experience preferred)
・Strong communication skills
・Ability to prepare documentation, including requirements documents, specifications, and proposals
・Portfolio
・Valid California driver’s license

・Experience developing with Webflow and Shopify
・Experience building websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress
・UI/UX design experience
・Experience building e-commerce websites
・Sales experience
・Business English (email, meetings, and phone)
・Knowledge of web system development
・Experience using Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator
