A major Japanese logistics company located in Torrance, California is seeking a Warehouse Lead.
<Job Summary>
The Warehouse Lead will work under the direction of the Warehouse Manager and perform duties related to service operations (receiving, shipping, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, etc.).
<Job Description>
▪The Warehouses Lead performs duties related to service operations and performs work in accordance with general requests from the Warehouse Supervisor or his/her team.
▪Receives shipments of service goods and transfers them to the service center or inventory.
▪Document receipt of irregularities (over/under) or damage to received shipments and report to the Warehouse Supervisor and Service Center.
▪Stow cargo on shelves or high racks according to carton or pallet size.
▪Processes REMAN-HOLD units from the service center.
▪Processes sales orders from ACCS for service operations, picks products, labels products according to customer requirements, packs products, and delivers freight to dock area for loading onto UPS and / or carrier trucks.
▪Communicate and correspond with customers regarding shipments.
▪ Report status of service operations activities such as shipping, receiving, and inventory to warehouse supervisor and customers.
▪Closes sales orders in ACCS and SAP at the end of the day.
▪The Warehouse Lead assists the warehouse supervisor/assistant warehouse supervisor on a semi-annual basis.
▪The Warehouse Lead assists the Warehouse Supervisor/Assistant Warehouse Supervisor semi-annually by conducting a physical inventory of service parts and reporting any discrepancies, shortages, or excesses to the Warehouse Supervisor, other relevant internal teams, and customers.
<Requirements>
▪GED (General Educational Development) High School Diploma
▪Must have over 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory management, and order processing.
▪Candidates with forklift experience and certification .
▪ Basic MS Office, Excel, SAP, and ACCS operations.
▪Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
▪ Fast learner of business operations.
▪Must be able to move objects using 10 lbs. of force.
