<Job Responsibilities>

Assisting veterinarians with appointments (animal restraint, taking medical history, blood draws, etc.)

Preparing prescriptions and contacting pharmacies
-
Maintaining hospital cleanliness (laundry, cleaning, etc.)
-
Assisting during surgeries (helping with catheters, recovery, etc.)
<Requirements>
-
Bilingual in Japanese and English (reading and writing skills in both languages required)

Must have legal work authorization in the U.S.
- Veterinary technician certification in the U.S. or prior experience working at an animal hospital is ideal

Basic medical knowledge and nursing skills

Ability to follow veterinarian’s instructions precisely

Familiarity with handling medical instruments and diagnostic equipment
-
Basic skills in computer-based record keeping and reservation systems
-
Strong communication skills to convey information effectively in one-on-one or small group settings with clients, students, and internal staff
