<Job Summary>

  • Prepare and cook high-quality teppanyaki dishes in front of guests with precision, speed, and showmanship.

  • Provide an engaging and professional teppanyaki performance while ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.

  • Ensure proper preparation of ingredients, portioning, and station setup before each service.

  • Collaborate with sushi, kitchen, and service teams to deliver smooth and timely dining experiences.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.

  • Uphold the restaurant’s standards of hospitality and Japanese culinary tradition.

 

<Requirements>

  • Valid work authorization for the U.S.
  • Japanese Bilingual

  • Proven experience as a Teppanyaki Chef in a high-end or authentic Japanese restaurant.
  • Strong knife skills and mastery of teppan cooking techniques.

  • Ability to perform in front of guests with professionalism and hospitality.

  • Understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and culinary presentation.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
