As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of food preparation and service, including ingredient preparation, inventory management, menu development, and ensuring efficient service operations.

<Responsibilities>
・Provide guests with memorable and enjoyable dining experiences through positive interaction
・Prepare and handle fish, meat, vegetables, sauces, and sushi rice with precision
・Select and maintain fresh, high-quality ingredients with consistent quality control
・Supervise kitchen staff in preparation, plating, and presentation
・Maintain knives and kitchen equipment in proper condition
・Ensure sushi station cleanliness and compliance with hygiene and safety standards
・Develop signature dishes and contribute to new menu creation, incorporating culinary trends
・Manage ordering and inventory, including daily, weekly, and monthly stock checks
・Coordinate training and communication across kitchen, prep, and dishwashing teams
・Maintain specialized equipment and enforce cleaning protocols
・Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
・Conduct daily line-ups and share key service and menu information with staff
・Train dining staff on menu knowledge (including written or practical testing)
・Handle invoices and oversee inventory management
・Lead, train, and motivate team members
<Requirements>
・Minimum 4 years of experience in traditional Japanese cuisine
・Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants preferred
・Bilingual in Japanese and English
・Authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship available, including E2)
・Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience in food & beverage
・Excellent knife skills
・Strong interest and knowledge of local and unique ingredients
・Understanding and appreciation of Japanese culture and traditions
