<Job Summary>

  • Prepare and serve high-quality sushi and sashimi, ensuring freshness, taste, and presentation.

  • Master the art of nigiri, maki rolls, and specialty sushi dishes.

  • Maintain proper portioning, knife skills, and ingredient preparation for daily service.

  • Ensure the sushi station is clean, organized, and follows all food safety standards.

  • Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to provide a smooth and timely dining experience.

  • Monitor inventory, storage, and quality of fish and other ingredients.

  • Uphold the restaurant’s standards of hospitality and Japanese culinary tradition.

 

 

<Requirements>

  • Valid work authorization for the U.S.
  • Japanese Bilingual

  • Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a high-end or authentic Japanese restaurant.

  • Expert knife skills and sushi preparation techniques.

  • Knowledge of Japanese fish, seafood, and ingredient handling.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain hygiene and safety standards consistently.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
