Excited to announce the opening of a new 20-26 seat Sushi Restaurant in the vibrant city of Asheville, NC. Seeking a passionate and experienced Sushi Chef who is ready to take on the challenge of creating and leading our culinary team. This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to become a co-owner of the restaurant and help shape its future.
Responsibilities:
Help with the creation of our sushi menu.
Source both local and international sustainable fish ingredients.
Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory of supplies. Conduct and oversee team training as needed.
Daily preparation of sushi dishes.
Required Skills:
Proven kitchen management experience.
Expertise in sushi preparation, fish cutting, slicing, and filleting. Proficiency in sushi dish preparations.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the work environment. Experience in training and leading a culinary team.
Contract Details:
Initial 3-month testing period, followed by a one-year contract.
Partnership agreement available upon successful completion of the initial contract period.
