A Japanese Logistic Company located in Torrance, California is seeking a Senior Customer Support.
<Position Summary>
The Senior Customer Support -Logistics oversees complex customer service issues, ensures efficient
shipment handling, and acts as a liaison between clients, operations, and logistics partners. This role
requires strong problem-solving skills, logistics knowledge, and the ability to manage escalations while
improving customer experience.
<Job Duties>
・Arrange and coordinate shipments for Import and Export for both Ocean and Air, for Land for key accounts directed by Manager
・ Track shipments across carriers and proactively communicate delays or disruptions.
・ Work with warehousing, transportation, and operations teams to ensure seamless workflow.
・Verify documentation such as BOLs, invoices, customs paperwork, and delivery receipts.
・ Analyze recurring customer concerns and recommend process improvements.
・ Monitor KPIs such as response time, resolution rate, lead time.
・ Strong relationships with key account to ensure retention and high satisfaction through daily arrangements of shipments
・ ISF/CF7512 filing, for AES Filing and its associated assigned task
・Create billing invoices and keep them with associated documents.
・ Participate ISO-related matters.
・Create Working Instruction and Visual Aid for process on business on key accounts
・Support Manager and team Supervisor to mentor junior team members if requested
・ Create Quotation if directed by Manager and follow up the quotation with key accounts
・ Perform for special projects, other duties including visiting clients when instructed by Manager

<Requirements>
・English required (Japanese language skills are a plus, but not mandatory)
・7 years of working experience within a Logistics company
・Relevant work experience in a similar or related role
・HS Diploma or equivalent
・Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
・Good written and verbal communication skills
・Proficient in Windows applications
・Ability to work in a fast–paced environment, Multi–tasking
・Customer Service mindset
・Team Player
・Organized
・Willing and able to work Overtime when business demands, includes weekends and holidays
