A sales position is available with a large logistics company in Wood Dale, IL (Chicago).

The company offers a full benefits package, bonuses, and career advancement.

In addition, the company is closed on weekends, holidays, and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Sales experience is a plus.

(If you have no experience, you will be working in an office with training).

 

<Job Description>

Sales of air import/export services, ocean import/export, warehouse services, and land transportation services to expand new sales.

 

<Duties>

  • Customer management
  • Prepare quotations and contracts for potential customers.
  • Call potential customers to understand the purchasing cycle and customer needs, and build relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Increase sales for each account
  • Prepare sales information for customers
  • Receive and place orders

 

<Requirements>

  • Bilingual in English and Japanese
  • Have a work visa to work in the U.S.
  • No experience required (experience in logistics, sales experience in chemical, automobile, food, medical equipment, etc. is welcome).
  • Must have or plan to obtain a U.S. driver’s license.

Common Requirements:

  • Sales visits mainly covering IL / IN / OH / MI / KY (not necessary to cover all states).

① Bilingual Sales Professional (with logistics industry experience) [Immediate Asset]

  • Over 2 years of sales experience in the logistics industry.

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English.

  • Primarily responsible for sales to Japanese companies (both new and existing clients).

  • Estimated annual salary: $55K–80K (negotiable based on experience).

  • Remote work: Not available.

② Non-Bilingual Sales Professional (with logistics industry experience and existing clients) [Immediate Asset]

  • Over 5 years of sales experience in the logistics industry.

  • Possesses a Book of Business (existing clients).

  • Japanese not required / English only acceptable.

  • Sales to both Japanese and non-Japanese companies.

  • Estimated annual salary: $55K–80K (negotiable based on experience).

  • Remote work: Available.

③ Bilingual Operations Professional (from the logistics industry) [Training Track]

  • Over 2 years of operations experience in the logistics industry.

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English.

  • Primarily responsible for sales to Japanese companies (both new and existing clients).

  • Estimated annual salary: Around $50K (negotiable based on experience).

  • Remote work: Not available.

④ Bilingual Sales Professional (outside logistics industry) [Training Track]

  • Over 2 years of sales experience in other industries.

  • Bilingual in Japanese and English.

  • Primarily responsible for sales to Japanese companies (both new and existing clients).

  • Estimated annual salary: Around $50K–60K (negotiable based on experience).

  • Remote work: Not available.

Salary $50,000–80,000 (negotiable based on experience)
Commission and bonus available
**Commission Schedule :
1st year – 15% for new account, 10% for new business for existing account.
2nd year – 10% for new account, 5% for new business for existing account.
Will be house account from 3rd year.
