A Japanese trading company specializing in manufacturing, located in De Soto, Kansas is seeking Sales Representative.
＜Job Overview＞
Provide optimal solutions to all customers while aiming to increase sales, expand the customer base, and improve profitability.
＜Responsibilities＞
・Conduct sales activities and related tasks at the factory of a single customer
・Receive drawings from users and manage them using Excel
・Obtain quotations from suppliers
・Prepare quotations
・Negotiate to secure orders
・Review details in the event of lost orders
＜Requirements＞
・Japanese–English bilingual (Professional-level English, Business-level Japanese)
・Valid work authorization in the United States
・Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, etc.)
・Education: Associate degree, technical school graduate, or equivalent
・Experience in relevant work or sales
・Experience reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
・Ability to communicate effectively with customers and suppliers to gather quotations and information
・Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing orders
・Excellent attention to detail, especially for analyzing and reviewing information in case of lost orders
・Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
・Ability to work independently or as part of a team
・Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
・Problem-solving skills and a proactive, challenge-oriented attitude
