A Japanese food trading company located in Long Island City, New York is seeking a Sales Representative.
<Responsibilities>
1. Sales Activities
・Proposing products/services to existing customers and new customers
・Developing new customers and new accounts by field sales, or websites, etc.
・Understanding customer needs and market trends to make optimal suggestions
2. Customer Support
・Preparing quotation, contract negotiation, and order processing
・Providing delivery schedule coordination, complaint handling, and after-sales follow-up
・Building long-term trust relationships (leading to repeat orders)
3. Sales Management & Goal Achievement
・Setting and managing sales and profit targets
・Analyzing and reporting on own sales performance
・Developing action plans to achieve targets
4. Internal Coordination
・Collaborating with the warehouse to ensure delivery dates and quality
・Cooperating with Administration to manage accounts receivable collection and pricing adjustments
<Requirements>
・Japanese–English bilingual
・Must have valid work authorization in the United States
・Prior sales experience required
・Experience in the food industry: 2+ years
