Restaurant Manager | Major Japanese Restaurant

A Japanese restaurant in New York, New York is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the team.

This restaurant, operated by one of Japan’s largest conveyor belt sushi chain companies, offers authentic Japanese-style sushi and creative dishes.

<Responsibilities>
■ Store Operations
• Oversee all front-of-house and kitchen staff operations
• Manage staff, including recruiting, scheduling, and attendance management
• Handle issues and communication between customers and employees
• Order food ingredients and supplies, and manage inventory
• Train and educate employees in the following areas:
a) Improving service quality
b) Knowledge of quality and product management
c) Compliance with sanitation standards and safety regulations

 

<Requirements>
•Customer service experience
•Experience handling raw fish
•Experience managing both kitchen and floor operations
•3+ years of management experience
•Japanese language skills preferred
