Pastry Chef

They are looking for a Pastry Chef to work at our Patisserie Cafe in Las Vegas, Nevada.

You will be working in a friendly and fun atmosphere and working with local staff, and you will be able to improve your English skills in a global environment. If you are passionate about making delicious cakes, this is the job for you.

You will be surrounded by delicious and lovely cakes, macaroons, breads, and other sweets.

This position will be responsible for pastry production and preparation, baking and finishing, inventory checks, product ordering and kitchen maintenance according to SNHD guidelines, and cleaning duties.

<Duties>

  • Consistent and uniform cake decorating (meticulous attention to detail)
  • Quality control and recipe compliance (taste, texture, appearance of cakes)
  • Work with production team to address any quality concerns or issues that arise
  • Ensure hygiene and food safety
  • Baking skills and teamwork
  • Regularly clean and maintain baking equipment and utensils

 

<Required Skills>

  • At least one year of kitchen experience required
  • Excellent cake decorating skills, especially in applying frosting and decorative elements
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality in cake decorating
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Asian pastries and ingredients a plus

Working Hours Hourly rate $15.00 – $17.00 plus tips
If you have no experience, we also offer apprentice pastry cook positions starting at $11.25 per hour.
