Operations Coordinator | Japanese Trading Company

A Japanese trading company located in Houston, Texas is seeking an Operations Coordinator.

 

<Responsibilities>
• Arrange and manage port entry and departure procedures for JSDF and government
vessels
• Coordinate with port authorities, customs, immigration, and quarantine offices
• Arrange tugboats, pilots, and berth allocations
• Organize vessel supplies (fuel, food, materials)
• Arrange crew immigration clearance, accommodation, and transportation
• Plan travel itineraries for training programs
• Arrange buses and accommodations for participants
• Handle schedule changes and operational issues
• Prepare quotations, cost control, billing
• Ensure compliance with security requirements
• Communicate in Japanese & English
• Develop vendors in each port
• Sales agency who promote office to each US customer
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
