A major Japanese food manufacturer based near Chino, California is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join its team. This position plays a key role in supporting products, branding, and marketing initiatives across the organization during an important rebranding and brand enhancement phase. This is a highly visible opportunity with strong potential for future growth into a Marketing Manager role.
<Key Responsibilities>
1. Marketing Planning and Execution
- Plan and execute integrated marketing initiatives across offline, digital, social media, in-store, and email channels
- Manage schedules and deliverables for new product launches and seasonal promotions
2. Content Creation and Communication
- Create and edit product descriptions, packaging copy, advertisements, and digital content
- Support simple creative production using tools such as Canva and CapCut
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales and production teams to execute launch strategies
- Facilitate internal communication related to product development and marketing progress
4. Performance Tracking and Improvement
- Monitor marketing and product performance data
- Provide improvement recommendations based on analysis
5. Event and Trade Show Support
- Prepare samples and promotional materials for trade shows and tasting events
- Introduce products and communicate brand stories at events
<Requirements>
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in product marketing, food marketing, PR, or a related field
- Experience in the food or CPG industry is welcomed
- Ability to perform simple cooking-related tasks such as product testing, recipe preparation, and event support
- Interest in Japanese or Asian food culture
- Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Basic knowledge of major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube
- Experience using simple design and video editing tools such as Canva and CapCut is a plus
<Preferred Qualifications>
- Experience in photography and video shooting
- Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience using WordPress
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or Google Ads
- Experience in brand building or product launch planning
- Experience in event management or trade show support

- Weekend work may be required depending on business needs
- Remote work is available 1–2 days per week, subject to change at the company’s discretion

- Strong knowledge in PR or 2–3 years of practical experience in a related field
