Japanese confectionery store that will be opening in the Gardena area of Los Angeles is looking for a manager.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about making delicious cakes and enjoys working in a friendly and fun atmosphere. As an opening staff, actively looking for people who can help them expand their business.
Would you like to work surrounded by delicious and lovely strawberry daifuku, and other sweets? It is planning to have a training period in January for the opening.
<Duties>
- Management of the entire team
- Cooperation with the patissier-chef who will educate you
- Create consistent and uniform Daifuku (meticulous attention to detail)
- Quality control and recipe compliance (taste, texture, appearance)
- Work with production team to address any quality concerns or issues that arise
- Ensure sanitation and food safety
- Regularly clean and maintain baking equipment and utensils
<Required Skills>
- Must have a valid U.S. work VISA
- Love to cook and have an interest in confectionery
- Experience in management, interested in business expansion
- Bilingual in English and Japanese
- Flexibility
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Asian pastries and ingredients a plus
