IT Consultant Sales | Japanese IT Company

An IT consulting company in Fort Lee, New Jersey is seeking an IT Consultant Sales.

The hiring company provides network diagnosis and construction, PC and laptop repair, website development, SEO consulting, system development for sales support, customer management, inventory management, as well as email and web hosting. Their objective is to be a company that can provide not only technical support related to IT, but also additional services to satisfy their clients.

This position is hybrid, consisting of on-site and remote work. The employee may be required to attend off-site client meetings or business appointments and may travel directly from home when necessary.

<Job Summary>

This role is responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying business needs, and providing practical IT solutions aligned with customer operations and goals. The position supports sales activities and coordination by working with customers, internal teams, vendors, and service providers to help ensure successful solution delivery and long-term customer satisfaction.

 

 

<Job Description>

· Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, telemarketing activities, and client visits
· Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers through ongoing communication and proactive support
· Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate IT infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operational solutions
· Manage sales opportunities and customer accounts throughout the sales cycle
· Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, carriers, and service providers to support solution delivery and project progression
· Serve as a primary point of contact between customers and internal teams during project planning, implementation, and post-deployment support
· Prepare proposals, quotations, statements of work, sales orders, and related sales documentation
· Track and maintain updates on sales opportunities, projects, schedules, and ongoing activities
· Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
· Support onsite IT and network-related activities, including deployment coordination and basic troubleshooting
· Contribute to regional business growth initiatives and long-term customer development strategies
· Participate in internal meetings, client meetings, and company-wide meetings as required
· Support overall sales operations and perform other duties as assigned
· Business travel may be required for operational needs

 

<Required Skills>

· Basic computer knowledge (e-mail, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Authorization to work in the USA
· Business level in English and Japanese
· Valid driver’s license
· IT / Marketing experience is preferred
·Interested not only in sales activities but also in project coordination and management.

$45,000 ‐ $50,000 (DOE)

Candidates with sales experience or extensive IT-related experience may be considered for a salary range of $50K–$54K.
