A Japanese food manufacturer in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking an IT and internal portal management position.
<Job Summary>
Manage IT help desk and internal portal for a food manufacturer.
<Job Description>
・Configure Windows 10/11 PCs (OS installation, updates)
・Network settings (domain connection, network configuration, remote desktop, VPN, printers, etc.)
・Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (settings, administration, issue resolution)
・Set up internal email accounts
・Configure mobile devices (iPhone/Android tablets) and audio/visual equipment
・Troubleshoot and resolve various system issues
・Provide training to employees
・Research, plan, and execute projects for new equipment/system implementation
・Manage hardware and software inventory (from procurement to disposal)
・Design, operate, and manage internal portals for different departments
・Collaborate with external IT vendors to resolve issues
・Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors
<Requirements>
・Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
・Basic knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and networks (ability to build a PC preferred)
・Experience managing Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, and access control)
・Ability to create reports and project documents using Office software
・Strong communication skills to explain technical issues and solutions in layman’s terms
・Language skills: Japanese (professional level), English (business conversation level or higher)
