Administrator & Inside Sales | Japanese Electronic Components Manufacturer

A Japanese electronic components manufacturer located in Novi, Michigan is seeking an Administrator & Inside Sales professional to support sales administration, order processing, logistics operations, and general back-office functions.

The company manufactures and sells thermistors, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, air velocity sensors, and related products to customers across a wide range of industries around the world. With a commitment to environmentally conscious product development, the company serves various sectors, including the automotive industry.

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for back-office operations at the company’s U.S. office, with a primary focus on order processing, sales administration, logistics coordination, and operational support.

The selected candidate will communicate with customers, suppliers, and the headquarters in Japan while supporting day-to-day office operations.

Responsibilities
・Handle order processing and sales administration
・Confirm customer orders
・Enter sales orders
・Place orders with the headquarters in Japan
・Coordinate shipping instructions
・Support logistics and supply chain operations
・Manage forecasts
・Track production schedules
・Coordinate delivery schedules
・Manage supplier portals
・Communicate with customers and coordinate various requests
・Support accounting-related tasks
・Issue invoices
・Assist with AR/AP management
・Track incoming payments
・Support HR and general affairs functions
・Assist with recruiting
・Manage attendance records
・Support expatriate employees
・Perform other administrative duties related to office operations

 

Requirements
・Valid work authorization in the United States
・Business-level English proficiency
・Professional experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
・Basic PC skills

Preferred Qualifications
・Experience in sales administration, order processing, or a similar administrative role
・Experience in order management or customer service
・Experience in logistics or supply chain-related operations
・Japanese language skills
・Experience with AP/AR tasks
・Experience in HR or general affairs
・1+ year of experience in sales administration or a similar role preferred

Salary Around $50,000 per year
Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills.
