<Job Summary>
The Floor Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant operation, including customer service, keeping abreast of business trends, and developing and managing human resources. This includes managing expenses and inventory to maximize sales and profits.
<About the Restaurant>
Menu: Appetizers, nigiri sushi, maki rolls, other Japanese food, etc.
Seating: 400 seats (sushi counter and tables, sushi and izakaya seating combined)

- Staff training and development
- Improve skills and knowledge of service staff through coaching.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety
- Ensure restaurant is clean and in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Guest Service and Merchandise Display: Provide excellent guest service.
- Provide excellent guest service.
- Implement and maintain guest service standards.
- Maintain merchandise display and inventory standards.
- Compliance and Management: Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to company policies.
- Manages administrative duties including funds, media, receiving, inventory, and payroll.
- Assign daily goals, tasks, and assignments to staff and ensure proper completion.
- Monitors sales performance; hires, trains, develops, and communicates with staff.
- Additional Duties:.
- Assist with strategy alignment as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisor or management.
<Requirements>
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or other closely related field (strongly preferred)
- 3+ years’ experience in the restaurant industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time management skills and accuracy in handling a variety of tasks
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and other applications is a plus
