A Japanese equipment manufacturer in Portland, OR, is seeking to fill an Electrical Engineer position.
<Duties>
-Schematic and PCB design
-Selection of electronic components
-Inter-evaluation of electronic components
-Identify alternatives to existing products, if any, on the market.
-Cross-part testing as needed to ensure complete functionality in a system
-PCB assembly primary inspection
-Troubleshooting of third-party PCB manufacturing
-Troubleshooting of in-house production
-Communicate with PCBA vendors and prepare necessary pre-production documents
-C language software debugging
<Requirements>
-Familiarity with CAD
-Circuit design and simulation
-Circuit analysis
-Troubleshooting electronic hardware
-Reading and understanding electronic data sheets
-Soldering
-Technical writing
-Record keeping
-PCB BOM management
＜Preferred Qualifications>
-Proficiency in Altium Designer
-Test application development (Python, Arduino, etc.)
-Ability to program automated test fixtures to improve manufacturing processes
-Experience with software modification management tools (Git)
