A major Japanese telecommunications company located in Torrance, California is seeking a Digital Transformation Program Lead.
<Role Overview>
We are seeking a motivated Digital Transformation Program Lead to manage digital transformation initiatives and support client growth. This role is responsible for planning and delivering technology-driven projects that improve operations, modernize business processes, and enhance customer experience.
Primary Focus: Deliver digital transformation programs
Secondary Focus: Support business development and client growth initiatives
This position offers hands-on project leadership, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to grow into larger transformation responsibilities.
<[Key Responsibilities>
1. Program & Project Management (Primary Focus)
– Lead delivery of digital transformation projects from planning through execution
– Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and resources
– Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners
– Ensure alignment between business objectives and project execution
– Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
– Track progress and provide regular project status updates
– Support implementation and adoption of digital platforms and process improvements
2. Client Engagement
– Act as primary project contact for assigned clients
– Build positive working relationships with client stakeholders
– Participate in regular onsite engagement in the Los Angeles area
– Help translate business needs into clear project plans
3. Business Development Support (Secondary Focus)
– Support identification of new project opportunities within new/existing accounts
– Contribute to solution definition and proposal development
– Assist sales and delivery teams during pre-sales activities
4. Documentation & Reporting
– Maintain project documentation and reporting artifacts
– Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
<Qualifications>
– 5+ years of experience in project or program management, digital delivery, or technology consulting
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
– Business-level Japanese and English proficiency
– Understanding of software development lifecycles and digital platforms
– Experience managing cross-functional project teams
– Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
<Preferred Qualifications>
– Project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, etc.)
– Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery approaches
– Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar
