Corporate Administration Project Coordinator |Major Japanese Automotive Dealership

A major Japanese automotive dealership company based in Torrance, California is seeking a Corporate Administration Project Coordinator .

 

<Job Summary>
This position supports cross-functional corporate projects related to establishing financial reporting structures, organizing business processes, and building administrative foundations required for the company’s growth.
Rather than handling already established routine tasks, this role involves working closely with operations to develop and implement necessary systems and processes as the company continues to grow. The scope of responsibilities is not fixed and will expand flexibly based on the company’s growth stage and the individual’s strengths.
There may also be opportunities to be involved in corporate administrative functions that include coordination with the parent company in Japan and overseas offices. Under the direction of the Head of Finance, this role will collaborate with various departments, store locations, and the parent company in Japan as needed.

 

<Job Responsibilities>
・Assist with monthly closing processes
・Support the organization and structuring of financial reporting materials
・Assist with audit preparation and documentation management
・Support the preparation of closing packages
・Assist in organizing and documenting internal control-related materials
・Support process mapping and business process improvements
・Understand and assist with store-level accounting operations
・Support data organization and preparation of analytical reports
・Assist with cross-functional corporate projects
・Support communication related to financial reporting with the parent company in Japan
・Assist in preparing and organizing group reporting materials
・Support coordination and reporting processes including communication with Japan offices
・The above responsibilities are representative and not exhaustive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed for organizational operations.

 

<Requirements>
・Must have valid U.S. work authorization
・Experience in accounting, finance, or corporate administration
・Experience in project support, process improvement, or cross-functional operations
・Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
・Ability to work proactively and adapt in a growing environment
