Outside Sales | Japanese Food Company

A Japanese food company located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative proficient in both English and Chinese.

＜Job Responsibilities＞

– Achieve monthly and annual sales quotas as designated by the manager.
– Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers in the assigned region.
-Develop and maintain new customers.
– Explore new customers through various methods, including networking and cold calling.
– Conduct market research and develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned region.
– Visit customers and potential clients to provide support, information, and promote the sales of our products.
– Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely payment collection.
– Maintain high customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building trust.
-Resolve issues promptly and escalate to management as needed.
– Collaborate with the purchasing department, warehouse, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient order processing.
-Ensure accurate and efficient processing of orders and proper product distribution.
– Coordinate urgent deliveries with customers to meet their needs.
– Explain the benefits of our products and services to customers.
– Timely input and update of orders in our database.
– Adhere to the company’s vehicle policy, maintaining and driving the company vehicle safely.
– Troubleshoot and handle complaints related to provided products.
– Attend weekly sales meetings.
– Participate in biannual inventory audits on designated days (which may include weekends).

＜Requirements＞

・Business-level proficiency in English and Chinese.

・Willingness to travel for business purposes.

・Possession of a valid driver’s license.

・Prior experience in the food industry is preferred.

・Experience with ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Nav, is a plus.
