Japanese Food Wholesaler in Elk Grove Village, Illinois is looking a candidate for an Accounting Staff (AR) position (Temporary).
<Job Description＞
- Proper documentation of payments through reports
- Process refunds and returned checks
- Work with customers to clear delinquent accounts
- Compose emails and respond to customer requests for receipts
- Process weekly statements and email statements upon customer request
- Record cash, check, and credit card transactions and process customer payments
- Manage data to ensure proper distribution of statements, including monitoring billed payments
- Prepare bi-weekly statement reports for review
- Other duties as required by manager
- Work with customers and sales team to ensure future payments are collected and payment delinquencies are resolved – Maintain proper filing and record keeping procedures
<Requirements＞
-Business level English (required) and basic level Japanese (preferred)
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other related field preferred
-At least 2 years of AR experience preferred
-Basic math knowledge （markups, discounts, currency, etc.)
