A Japanese café restaurant brand originating in Japan is seeking a Kitchen Leader for its location in Los Angeles, California.
This position plays a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations while overseeing food preparation, inventory management, purchasing, and team coordination. As a core member of the restaurant, you will help ensure efficient operations and consistently high-quality food.
＜Position Summary＞
As the Kitchen Leader at our Los Angeles location, you will oversee kitchen operations with a primary focus on food preparation,
inventory management, and purchasing.
Working closely with the kitchen team during daily service, you will ensure smooth operations while maintaining the highest
standards of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.
Location: Los Angeles, California (Beverly Grove area)
＜Key Responsibilities＞
・Prepare and cook menu items
・Handle food preparation, cooking, and plating
・Order food ingredients and kitchen supplies
・Monitor and manage inventory levels
・Maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
・Improve kitchen workflow and operational efficiency
・Support and collaborate with kitchen staff
・Perform other duties related to kitchen operations
Sample Menu Items: Omurice (Japanese omelet rice), Japanese soufflé pancakes, Katsu curry
＜Qualifications＞
・Legally authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)
・Bilingual in Japanese and English
・Minimum of 3 years of kitchen experience in a restaurant environment
・Strong fundamental cooking skills
・Experience with food ordering and inventory management
・Strong teamwork and communication skills
・Self-motivated, dependable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities
