A popular Japanese restaurant company based in Woodland Hills, California is seeking an experienced Payroll / HR Specialist to join its team.
＜Job Summary＞
This position is responsible for managing payroll and a wide range of HR operations for approximately 400–500 employees.
The primary focus is payroll administration using Paycom, along with HR functions such as new hire onboarding, employee
terminations, background checks, and other day-to-day human resources operations.
＜Responsibilities＞
・Process payroll using Paycom
・Handle new hire onboarding and employment paperwork
・Process employee terminations
・Conduct onboarding sessions and new employee orientation
・Coordinate and manage background checks
・Enter and maintain employee tip data
・Maintain HR documentation and employee records
・Provide support for payroll and other HR-related operations
＜Qualifications＞
・Legally authorized to work in the United States
・Hands-on payroll experience using Paycom
・Experience managing payroll and HR operations for a workforce of 400–500 employees
・Practical experience in payroll administration and human resources
・Strong attention to detail with the ability to process payroll and HR tasks accurately and efficiently
・Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
