A Japanese language school located in Irvine, California is seeking a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher.
Start date will be in April 2026
＜Responsibilities＞
You will serve as an Assistant Teacher for the Kindergarten class at the Saturday Supplementary School
・Assist the homeroom teacher with kindergarten classroom instruction
・Prepare and organize teaching materials and handouts
・Support attendance tracking and assist with parent communication
・Supervise children and ensure a safe classroom environment
・Help prepare and facilitate crafts and other classroom activities
・Provide operational support during school events and special programs
・Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
・Perform administrative support tasks as needed
＜Requirements＞
・Professional-level proficiency in Japanese
・Valid work authorization in the United States
・Teaching credential preferred but not required
・College coursework in early childhood education preferred but not required
・Passion for education
・Prior experience in the education field preferred
