Assistant Warehouse Manager / Route Driver | Japanese Food Manufacturer

A Japanese food (noodle manufacturing) company in Gardena, California is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager / Route Driver.

<Job Summary>
The Assistant Warehouse Manager supports daily warehouse operations and assists the
Warehouse Manager as needed. This position also works as a route driver, delivering
products to customers and picking up orders. The role requires teamwork, attention to
detail, and flexibility to handle both warehouse and driving duties.

<Responsibility>
Warehouse Operations
・Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse activities
・Manage shipping, receiving, storing, and organizing products
・ Prepare orders for shipment and customer pickup
・Assist with loading and unloading trucks
・ Check orders for accuracy and report any issues
・Support production operations during the holiday season and as needed
・Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the warehouse
・ Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation
・ Follow company safety rules and procedures
Route Driver Duties
・Deliver products to assigned customers on scheduled routes
・Pick up returns or materials when needed
・ Load and unload products safely and carefully
・ Ensure correct quantities are delivered
・ Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner
・ Complete delivery paperwork and report issues to management

<Qualifications>
・ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
・ Experience in warehouse work or delivery driving preferred
・ Forklift experience is a plus (training provided if needed)
・ Basic math and reading skills
・ Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions
・English and Japanese Bilingual
