Preschool Director | Japanese Immersion Preschool

A Japanese immersion preschool that opened last year in Los Angeles, California (Sawtelle area) is seeking a Preschool Director.
This role leads the overall operation of the preschool, providing an educational environment that values Japanese language and culture.

<Job Overview>
As the head of a newly established Japanese immersion preschool, this position is responsible for overall school operations, staff management, and the development of educational policies.
The role offers broad autonomy, from launch-related initiatives to day-to-day management.

<Key Responsibilities>

• Oversee and manage overall preschool operations
• Develop and manage educational programs and curriculum
• Recruit, train, and manage teaching and administrative staff
• Communicate and work closely with parents and guardians
• Ensure facility operations comply with licensing requirements and regulations
• Handle all start-up and launch-related tasks associated with a new preschool

<Requirements>

• Preschool Director License or Preschool Site Manager qualification
  Candidates who have completed early childhood education programs in Japan and possess substantial hands-on experience in childcare settings may be eligible for support—please inquire.
• Proven experience in early childhood education and management
• Strong understanding of and passion for early childhood education

**Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, as well as familiarity with child-centered educational philosophies
such as Montessori, is highly preferred.
