Sr. Supervisor | Major Japanese logistics company

A major Japanese logistics company in Torrance, CA is looking for a Sr. Supervisor.

＜Job Responsibilities＞

• Manage and supervise daily logistics operations

• Train and develop team members, oversee shift scheduling, and conduct performance evaluations

• Propose process improvements, manage KPIs, and execute initiatives to enhance quality and productivity

• Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain service quality

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors

• Ensure compliance with regulations, including customs rules, transportation laws, and safety standards

• Analyze root causes of customer complaints and implement corrective actions

• Prepare reports, manage monthly operational reviews, and handle data management tasks

＜Requirements＞

• Valid authorization to work in the United States

• Proven management experience in the logistics industry

• Ability to manage processes in compliance with ISO 9001 standards

• Strong team management and leadership skills

• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication abilities

• Experience with MS Office, SAP, OSHA, or other warehouse management systems
