An authentic Japanese conveyor belt sushi restaurant is looking for kitchen staff and sushi chefs to work at Kaiten Sushi store in Honolulu, Hawaii, a vibrant location loved by both locals and tourists. Due to business expansion, you will be responsible for supporting the overall kitchen operations of the restaurant under the supervision of experienced chefs.

As a Sushi Chef or Kitchen Staff, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of Japanese cuisine, with a focus on sushi and supporting items.

General operations related to sushi (preparation for conveyor belt and omakase)

Preparing seafood and rice for sushi and nigiri

Preparing sauces, dressings, and garnishes

Maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, kitchen, counters, and prep stations

Supporting kitchen operations such as washing dishes and managing inventory

Opportunity to grow into omakase chef roles depending on skill and interest
<Requirements>

Passion for Japanese cuisine and interest in learning sushi techniques

Experience working in a Japanese restaurant is preferred but not required

Understanding of Japanese hospitality (Omotenashi) is a plus

Friendly attitude and ability to work as part of a team

Business level English (Japanese is a plus but not required)
