Warehouse Customer Service Supervisor

<Job Summary>

This is a warehouse office position. This position is responsible for giving instructions to the warehouse, communicating with customers, preparing internal documents and invoices, and data input. In addition, in the absence of the manager, you will be responsible for the manager’s role.

<Job Description>

Customer Service

  • Respond to various calls and e-mails from customers and subcontractors.
  • Respond to and resolve various complaints and grievances from customers.
  • Coordinate customer inquiries and orders with the Warehouse Operations Department.
  • Provides quotes to customers and rates to other branches.
  • Track shipments and communicate shipment status to customers.
  • Schedule pickups and deliveries, prepare documents related to warehouse operations, send advance notification documents, trace shipment status, and provide inquiry information through input documents, and make daily shipping arrangements.
  • Update shipment status, provide quotations, and prepare necessary information and documentation for import shipments.
  • Issue invoices based on quotations agreed with customers.
  • Maintain a steady customer billing cycle, monitor the status of all shipping invoices and notify customers of outstanding invoices with backup documentation as needed.
  • Maintain sales rates and monitor/negotiate costs and sales rates to achieve customer satisfaction and maximum profit.     etc.

Other Duties

  • Supervise and support the activities of subordinates.
  • Assume the role of manager in his/her absence.
  • Seek continuous improvement of business processes, more efficient and less costly ways and means.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
  • Report all irregularities and issues to the Manager for resolution.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and be responsible for organizing data and documents.
  • Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as directed by the manager.  etc.

 

<Requirements>

  • Business level English, Business level Japanese
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience

Working Hours Work 5 days from Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm, 8 hours a day
Weekends and holidays are off.
Break time: 1 hour
Salary $60,000-70,000+ Bonus(to be determined after interview based on experience)
