A Japanese food manufacturer located in Santa Fe Springs, California is seeking for a Mechanical Maintenance to join their team.
<Main Job Responsibilities>
・Maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment in a food manufacturing plant
・Inspection, maintenance, adjustment, and repair of production equipment, scheduling and supervision of on-site work by equipment manufacturers and service contractors
<Job Responsibilities>
・Perform maintenance and servicing of various production equipment according to manufacturing procedures/instructions.
・Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues when they arise.
・Maintain maintenance programs and schedules, along with record management.
・Prepare and set up manufacturing equipment based on the production plan.
<Requirements>
・Work experience with food manufacturing equipment, including management, maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
・Specialized knowledge in electrical systems and food manufacturing equipment.
・Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed for urgent support from equipment manufacturers.
・Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
・Knowledge of electrical systems (such as PLCs and electrical circuits) and the ability to troubleshoot and rectify electrical issues.
・Knowledge of machinery and the ability to troubleshoot and repair food manufacturing equipment.
・Ability to assess whether outsourcing repairs is necessary and to research and coordinate with contractors.
・Strong communication skills (English [required] and Japanese [preferred]).
・Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel).
・Relevant certifications are a plus.
