A Japanese restaurant located in San Diego, California is seeking a full-time Kitchen Staff member to join the team.
<Job Responsibilities>

Food preparation, cooking, plating, and preparation for service

Ingredient and inventory management (stock checks, ordering support, and waste control)

Sanitation, cleaning, and strict adherence to kitchen safety and hygiene standards

Supporting kitchen operations during peak service hours

Team-based execution of tasks by following instructions accurately
<Requirements>

3–5 years of hands-on kitchen experience in a restaurant environment

English proficiency at a working level (able to understand instructions and communicate with the team)

Experience in ramen shops and/or izakaya-style restaurants, including cooking and service operations

Prior experience working in Japanese cuisine

Experience operating according to standard operating procedures (SOPs), including food safety and sanitation

Japanese language ability preferred
※ This position involves physically demanding work, including long hours standing and handling heavy items.
