<Job Summary>

Prepare and cook authentic Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura, and kaiseki with high standards of taste and presentation.

Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes served to guests.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth service and timely delivery.

Manage ingredient preparation, portioning, and mise en place for daily service.

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Assist in inventory management and communicate supply needs to management.

Uphold the restaurant’s hospitality standards and the tradition of Japanese cuisine.

- Valid work authorization for the U.S.

Japanese Bilingual

Proven experience as a Japanese cuisine chef in a high-end or authentic Japanese restaurant.

Strong skills in sushi, sashimi, tempura, and/or kaiseki preparation.

Knowledge of Japanese ingredients, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
