Inside Sales | Japanese Food Manufacturer

A Japanese food (noodle manufacturing) company in Gardena, California is seeking a candidate for an Inside Sales position.
This role is a temp-to-hire position, starting with approximately one month of employment as a temporary staff member, with the opportunity for full-time employment upon mutual agreement.

<Position Summary>
This role supports smooth sales and delivery operations through customer service and order processing, while coordinating closely with internal departments. Occasional customer visits and delivery-related tasks are also required.

<Responsibilities>
・Handle customer inquiries and order processing via phone and email
・Respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing, inventory availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
・Manage orders using internal systems and prepare invoices and related documentation
・Coordinate shipments in collaboration with production, warehouse, and logistics teams
・Build and maintain relationships with existing customers and provide follow-up support
・Visit restaurants (owners, chefs, etc.) as needed
・Share customer requests and feedback internally
・Provide warehouse support during peak seasons
・Prepare sales activity and operational reports
・Perform other related duties as assigned

<Qualifications>
・Valid work authorization in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available)
・Experience in inside sales, customer support, or sales administration preferred
・Candidates without sales experience may apply if they have experience in the food service or restaurant industry
・Ability to conduct business in Englis
・Japanese proficiency at N1 or N2 level preferred
(Chinese, Korean, or Spanish language skills are a plus)
・Ability to travel occasionally (approximately once every three months) for trade shows or customer visits
・Knowledge of the food or noodle manufacturing industry preferred
・Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, email)
・Valid U.S. driver’s license
